Today was swimming for a birthday party of one of Kati's good friends. She had a blast!

Playgroup today was at the local inflatable jumping place. Cole was scared at first, but by the end he didn't want to leave. We will have to take him back again soon.

Today a good friend of mine came over for the morning and taught me how to make my own BDU purse. (Thank you Tina!) I am so proud of myself. After her and I went out to lunch I decided to use the little scraps that were left and made a matching mini purse for Kati. She just loves it!

I swear today's teenagers will have serious thumb injuries by the time they are in their early twenties. Trent has been known to send out over a thousand texts a month!!!!

This is our new family puppy, Angus, that we got in December. He is so cute, lucky for him, because he is all teeth lately as he is chewing on everything.

Today Kati and I spent the day scrapping with my mom. We haven't gotten to do that in almost two months. It was SO nice. I spent the day making cards for the hospital. The pic is of some things I always tend to have out in my workspace.

Tonight was the annual school carnival. I got to spend two hours helping a friend, Brian, since his wife is at the hospital with their daughter, Taytum, who is Blake's best friend. We made tons of cotton candy to sell. Kati and Blake had a blast helping and eating plenty of cotton candy.

Today I was trying some new tricks, and Kati just wanted to get her pictures taken. She is such a ham in front of the camera.

Making smores is a perfect treat no matter what, when, or where. Since we can't make a fire outside in this cold and snow, we used the stovetop.

Today we had a heat wave of almost 50 degrees!!! That combined with the appx. two feet of snow on the ground has made for a melting slushy mess. Still I took the opportunity to walk Kati home from school.

I was able to get out my new lights I got for Christmas to try to play indoors (since there is still tons of snow outside.) Here is a little representation of our family right now.

Today Addy spent the day at the vet getting IV fluids. She was diagnosed with acute pancreatitus. We are hoping she is on the mend, and will be her playful self soon.

The kids have been rocking out to the Guitar Hero and Rock Band since Christmas when we got them for the Wii.
