Last soccer game before tournaments this weekend was tonight.  The boys’ team won by one point.

This evening we had a horrible thunder, lightning, and rain storm.  We lost power for a while, and the kids got to play board games by candlelight.

These are Dan’s bags packed ready to leave for SOS school for six weeks.  We just found out Thursday evening he would be going, and he flies out first thing Sunday morning.

My mom drove with me to pick Trent up from EFY in Idaho.  While there right after we got to the hotel a huge storm rolled in.  We got to watch the ducks try to find a way out of it.  They were lined up in the canal single file just trying to get out.  Every time they took flight they would only get a few feet into the air before splashing back down because the wind was so bad.
