One of the features Dan and I are both excited about in our new house is the ceiling in our master bedroom. It is done with an octagon inset. It will have backlighting in the ceiling. It should look totally awesome when its done.

One of Cole's favorite things lately is to challenge everyone to games of chess. His favorite opponent is his grandpa. We have had to learn to really pay attention because Cole can now beat us all if we don't think through the moves.

#26- Jan. 26th

Dan is enjoying the nicer weather while TDY to San Antonio. He got to spend the day out sightseeing and having dinner with his class. This is a view of the river walk there.

Cole and I spent some time just playing since we were getting a temporary warm spell. He was trying to learn new trucks for his scooter.

#24-Jan. 24th

Shot a quick bathroom photo of me ready for work. I'm really enjoying my new job. It will be hard to leave it in less than two months.

So the house has started getting its brick. Yeah. Another phase in progress. We were also told interior wiring is almost done and sheet rocking has started.
