#7-Jan 7th

Today's photo is one provided courtesy of my mom. My parents have been watching the kids while I've been in Louisiana with Dan to get everything picked for our house. I got sent this one of Cole enjoying his time with his grandparents. Between the awesome baths and game nights, getting to beat his grandparents at Yahtzee, he is definitely enjoying my time away.

#6-Jan. 6th

Had such a relaxing day together with Dan. It was so nice. It will be a long two months while he is TDY in Texas. Got more choices decided for our house. We have so much to try to get figured out in such a short time.

All the lighting is decided on and this will be the lantern light over our front door.

#5-Jan. 5th

First I have to say a wonderful Happy Birthday to my mom. I'm so thankful for her and all she does for me and my family. I hope she has a wonderful day. We spent the day at more appointments for the house and drove by the lot to see the progress. They got the plumbing laid in the ground. It is so fun to get to see the changes that are happening each day. Then we got to enjoy dinner at one of my favorite restaurants down here, Copelands. It's a New Orleans style place that is known for its incredible desserts.

#4-Jan. 4th

So another day working in progress for the new house. We had an appointment with the bank. Also got the exterior brick and all the appliances for the kitchen picked. It's so exciting yet stressful at the same time. It was much more fun doing that then how I get to spend the evening-doing homework.

#3-Jan. 3rd

So there was the first sign of progress at our property today. They set the footprint for the house. It doesn't look like much but at least it's something. Dan and I have appointments to pick out appliances, lighting, and brick for the house. One step at a time. :)

#2-Jan 2nd

Finished up the apartment today. Now to just hand in the keys tomorrow. It's so nice to feel like we are heading into the next phase of this move.

In between errands and cleaning we stopped for dinner at Wendy's. I just love the new touch screen soda machines they have. SO many options that its fun to try new ones every time. I can't wait to get to show them to Kati and Cole when they get down here.

#1-Jan 1st

Starting the year out very busy. Dan and I, with the awesome help of his friend Josh, got almost everything moved out of Dan's apartment into the storage unit. Huge kudos to them both because they both roughed it out being sick.

We have so many big plans for 2013 so I thought it would be perfect to try to keep up with a photo of the day for again this year.

The first photo for 2013 is the land where our new house will be getting built. We are all so excited to get to have a new house built for us. :)
